Trangia pans are available in 4 material options.
Aluminium is durable and light weight. Non-stick coating gives the
ideal surface for frying with very little fat and also makes washing up
easier. Duossal - stainless steel aluminium - two materials in one,
pressed together under high pressure. Aluminium on the outside for
good thermal conductivity and stainless steel on the inside to make the
pan scratch resistant and hygienic. Titanium, available only as
accessories, is ideal for people who use their stoves in more extreme
conditions and who are keen to keep weight down.
Trangia come in different sizes. The 25 series is larger, designed for 3 - 4 people. The 27 series being smaller is for the lone walker or two people. Each set comprises a 2 part aluminium windshield which lifts the burner, a brass meths burner with simmer ring and carrying cap, 2 pans, a frypan, a handle and a strap. Some models also include a kettle . All these nest together. All the individual parts of the set are available as spares. There is an optional gas burner which sits in the place of the meths burner and runs on screw top gas cartridges and an optional multin fuel burner complete with special fuel bottle.. Fuel bottles are in .5 L and 1 L sizes both with safety valve. We have not listed all the available spares, many we keep in stock and all can be ordered. |
