All this means is that the leather doesnt have the normal shine that a normal pair of buffed leather shoes would normally have. The picture shows the difference between a normal pair of Hillmaster shoes (on the right of the picture) and a B Grade Hillmaster shoes (on the left of the picture). As can be seen from the picture there is very little difference.
